Carpet

UGN’s complete floor system offers OEM customers a single source for carpet, auxiliary mats and trunk systems. The carpet systems offered by UGN provide superior acoustic performance combined with high quality aesthetics that greatly enhance the driving experience of the end customer.

Composition
Tufted carpets are composed of different fiber options that can be reinforced with an array of coatings and backings. UGN’s carpets are available in an assortment of weights, and backing densities to optimize acoustics and/or aesthetics in localized areas.

Trunk carpet is composed of needle-punched polyester, polypropylene or blends of the two fibers.
