UGN University

The mission of UGN University is to build a competency-based training curriculum for each job classification and to provide all levels of associates with a common shared vision of UGN, its values and its culture. UGN University serves as a learning laboratory to test new approaches and practices for the design and delivery of both formal and informal learning initiatives.

UGN University training is offered to new and prospective employees, current team members and associates of UGN’s customers and suppliers. The university tracks and records all training, including training provided by outside sources, for the purpose of identifying improvement, returns on investment, and quality trends associated with training.

Training

Our team members are our most important asset. Our Career Track provides a formalized program for individual advancement while enhancing the skills and knowledge of our employees. We encourage and support our team members to enroll in continuing education programs and seminars to further develop their skills, technical expertise and teamwork. In addition, all staff members are cross-trained to increase their understanding of our processes and ensure high-quality production.
